Season’s Greetings from Prime Lenses

Today marks one year to the day since I had the dream that inspired the podcast. To celebrate, here’s a little recap.
'Twas deep in the stillness of one winter's night,
When dreams took me somewhere beyond normal sight;
The stars aligned perfect, the moon cast its glow,
When into my dreamscape came Jason Momo-a.
His presence? Commanding, but what caught my eye,
Was a collection of lenses to make a heart fly.
Each Leica prime nestled in velvet with care,
Such optical treasures, so precious and rare.
His collection was stunning, each lens was so bright,
From wide twenty-ones to a nineties, quite tight.
The craftsmanship perfect, the bokeh so sweet,
This dream was a vision that just can’t be beat.
When morning’s light came, and I rose from my bed,
Those beautiful optics still danced in my head.
"A podcast!" I cried, "That's exactly what's needed!"
And thus Prime Lenses was born, a dream heeded.
Forty shows later, we’re trucking along,
With artists whose frames convey tales pure and strong,
Doug Menuez told all of his photographic quest,
While Hugh Brownstone and Ali tested out the best.
Becca brought wisdom, taking gear outside, like you!
And Dave Herring shared visions of skies crystal blue;
Dan Milnor had lessons from wandering far,
Rick made Polaroids of the world’s biggest star!
So this Christmas we thank you for joining the ride,
For the stories we've shared and the lenses we've tried.
May your holidays sparkle with fun and delight,
even exposures and viewfinders bright!
Thanks so much for listening and sharing the show this year, it has been an incredible experience and I’ve loved making this for you all. Here’s to many more exciting guests and conversations in 2025.
