Vintage looks in The Tourist

We started watching The Tourist last night. It’s filled with just as many twists and turns as the first series but I noticed that there was a very specific look in just about every scene. Very sharp in the middle with a vintage look to the softer corners and background.

Check out the bottom right in this frame. It reminded me of a Zeiss 35mm lens I used to have.

Which got me wondering about the lenses used. So I looked up the company that provided the gear. They’re called Vast Valley and seem to specialise in a lot of Zeiss lenses. I wonder what they used … need to find out! :)
