Free JPGs

I was watching a video by Dave Herring talking about how he sets up his M11. It reminded me that I can set my M10 to shoot JPGs at the same time as RAWs so for fun I set it to spit out some high contrast low sharpness black and white JPGs at the same time as RAW DNGs. The result is a bit of a treat as it turns out!

Some of them are delicious and super grungy. I do wonder what fun I could have with the new Leica Looks feature on the Q3 or something like a Fuji X Pro 3 with their film simulations.

Comparing the colour and B&W images side-by-side has been an interesting exercise and I’d be tempted to just enjoy JPG land some of the time so there’s minimal to no editing after the fact :)
